Media Pinball Editor

With Media Pinball Editor, you can link DMD frames from a real pinball machine to videos, images, music files, and devices.

Create a DMD Action Pack

After you load a DMD dump file into our Media Pinball Editor, you can start selecting DMD frames and link those to media files. This will allow us to play these media files on a monitor or a tv when a specific frame is visible on your DMD. With your online account you can also indicate how much XP a player can earn when specific frames are shown, you can set up achievements, and you can capture the score of player 1 for our leader boards.

Media Pinball Player

With Media Pinball Player, you can play media files synced to the DMD of your actual pinball machine.

Play a DMD Action Pack

Once you hook up your Pin2DMD to a computer, you can start using our Media Player to play pre-programmed media based on what is shown on your DMD of your actual pinball machine. This could allow you to replace your backglass with a monitor, add a video topper to your pinball machine, or maybe even a mini movie screen inside your pinball machine. The possibilities are endless really and we can't wait to see what you'll come up with.

Pinball Players

If you want us to keep track of your pinball activity, you'll need to create an account with us. Once you do, we'll keep track of the number of games you've played, your high scores, your ranking at those locations, the XP you've earned on each Media Pinball connected machine and your achievements (coming soon).

When playing a Media Pinball connected machine, you'll need to scan the QR code shown on the screen.

Once you scan this code, you'll be asked to log into your account so we can start tracking your activity. Are you done playing? Simply scan the QR code again to indicate that you want to stop playing this game.

Make sure to log into your account to keep track of your recent activity, your earned XP and current level, the number of plays, your current high score on each MediaPinball connected machine you've played, and your achievements (coming soon). We'll also show you the top 10 ranking within the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, and of all time directly within your account of each connected machine you've played.

Pinball Operators

Before signing up, you'll need the following to get started:

  1. A Pinball machine where the regular DMD was replaced with a Pin2DMD
  2. A computer running windows (we're using a $150 Mini PC with 16GB of RAM and an SSD)
  3. A USB cable to connect the Pin2DMD to your computer (we used a 6ft USB Type C to Type A cable)

Create an Account

Next you'll need to create an account so you can download our Media Pinball Player. If you plan on creating your own DMD Action pack(s), you'll also need to download our Media Pinball Editor. Both can be downloaded once you log into your account.

Creating an account allows us to keep track of your pinball activity. Depending on your DMD action pack we'll keep track of your playing time, scores, earned XP and achievements. All this can be set up by the creator of a DMD Action Pack.

Creator Program

To participate in our Creator Program, you simply need to list a DMD action pack on our site. Once approved, you can start earning a commission on all license sales of people using your action pack.

Payments will occur monthly through PayPal. A minimum balance if $50 is required.
